The Photographer, Deo Kyakulagira is the first book in the Ebifananyi Series. Both book and series launched with two exhibitions in Kampala. The show in Makerere University Art Gallery explored the variety of Kyakulagira’s work. Contemporary prints of some of Kyakulagir’a’s photographers showed and were on sale in a presentation in AfriArt Gallery.
The first copy of the book was presented to Deo Kyakulagira’s son and heir Denis Kalyango. The opening of the show at Makerere included a panel discussion about Kyakulagira’s photographs with journalist David Tumusiime and photographer and lecturer Annette Sebba.
