At some point they must have fallen in love – first with each other and then with the mountains. We see a couple slowly growing old over a period of at least thirty years. Through their double portraits, taken with a self-timer, we are allowed to participate in what is arguably their greatest passion: their holidays in the Alps. Selected from a vast bequest of slides, this book presents the fascinating love story of D and G, about whom we know very little, other than that they loved travel and photography.
