Andrea Stultiens does things with photographs. She makes them, collects them, looks at them, thinks and writes about them, and sometimes she makes the results of this visible for the rest of the world.

She is amazed by how we are influenced by our environment. By how we take control of that environment, how we mould a fictional variant of 'real life' and remember it with the help of photography.

In her album you will find the pictures that she is working with and thinking about. She made them or collected them from various sources. Sooner or later many of these images will move to the project section, where they will have the context of the story Andrea wants to tell.

Books are Andrea's favorite medium to present her work. They give her the opportunity to tell the story in an intimate way, literally one on one with the reader. On this website you can go through some of the books and order them.
